The Alvero Family Scholarship Grant was opened to graduating Grade 6 students from the following partner schools:

• Hiloctogan Elementary School
• Kananga Central School
• Libongao Elementary School
• Visares Elementary School

Scholarship Objective

The primary objective of the Alvero Family Scholarship Grant was to provide meaningful educational assistance to deserving and academically promising students who demonstrate excellence and strong character but face financial limitations. The program aimed to invest in young learners with high potential who, despite economic challenges, show determination, discipline, and commitment to education.

The scholarship sought not only to reward academic merit but also to support families who may otherwise struggle to sustain their children’s schooling due to financial constraints. By reducing immediate economic burdens, the program intended to allow scholars to focus fully on learning, growth, and long-term development.

Scholarship Support

The scholarship provided the following assistance:

• Daily allowance
• School supplies
• School uniforms
• Renewable assistance each year, subject to continued excellent academic performance

Application Guidelines

• Each school teacher was allowed to recommend one student
• Schools were permitted to submit multiple recommended applicants
• All applicants were required to be endorsed by the school principal
• Completed application forms and supporting documents were submitted on or before February 13, 2026

Selection Process

The selection process consisted of:

• Written examination in reading and writing
• Mathematics assessment
• Personal interview

The assessment was conducted on February 18, 2026.

A total of 10 students participated in the scholarship assessment:

• 4 students from Libongao Elementary School
• 2 students from Kananga Central School
• 3 students from Hiloctogan Elementary School
• 1 student from Visares Elementary School

The venue was announced through coordination with the participating schools.
